What Information the Application Collects

No Registration Required

The Application does not require you to create an account or register to use it.

Information You Provide Voluntarily

The Application is designed so that you generally do not need to provide Personal Data to use it. However, if you contact us (for example, by email), we will receive the information you choose to share, such as your email address and the contents of your message.

If you choose to enter an address or location within the Application to calculate proximity to voting locations, that information is processed locally on your device solely for distance calculation purposes and is not stored, transmitted, or retained by the Application.

Usage Data and Diagnostics

We strive to minimize data collection. In general, the Application does not collect information that directly identifies you. That said, limited Usage Data may be processed in some circumstances, such as:

  • Basic device and diagnostic information needed for security, troubleshooting, and performance (for example: device type, operating system version, app version, and approximate timestamps of errors/crashes).

  • Server or network logs if the Service relies on hosted infrastructure (for example: IP address and access times) for security monitoring and abuse prevention.

  • Information collected by app stores and platform providers (such as Apple or Google) under their own policies.

Location Information

The Application does not collect precise real-time location information from your Device.

How We Use Information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service.

  • Respond to your requests and support inquiries.

  • Improve reliability, troubleshoot problems, and protect the security of the Service.

  • Comply with applicable laws and enforce our policies.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your Personal Data. We also do not share Personal Data with third parties for marketing. We may disclose information only in the following limited situations:

  • Service Providers: If we use vendors to help operate the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics limited to diagnostics, crash reporting), they may process limited information on our behalf and only under our instructions.

  • Legal Requirements: If required by law or valid legal process, we may disclose information to public authorities.

  • Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Where feasible, we delete, aggregate, or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

  • Support communications: Retained for a reasonable period to resolve your request and maintain records of support.

  • Security/diagnostic logs (if any): Typically retained for a limited period (e.g., up to 24 months) for troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and security monitoring, and may be deleted sooner.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Opt-out: You can stop all further information processing by uninstalling the Application.

  • Access/Deletion Requests: If you have contacted us and want to request access to or deletion of that information, you can email us. We may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate security and dispute-resolution purposes.

International Transfers

If information is processed outside your state or country, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided Personal Data to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

In some jurisdictions, you must be at least 16 years old (or have parental consent) to consent to certain data processing.
